Hello Dear Ones…
Happy Solstice! As I write this, here in the northern hemisphere it is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and the official start of summer. In the Southwest it is blazing hot now, with summer having arrived a number of days earlier. The lengthy days make for exquisitely refreshing early mornings and late evenings, balancing out the intensity of our high altitude sun.
And intense it has been for the past few months since I last wrote you in April. Our period of spring rebirth combined with multiple planetary retrogrades and overall intensity on the planet made for a forceful and challenging spring for many people. I personally had to work hard to not go into overwhelm and to view my challenges as stepping-stones rather than blocks. Lots of reframing was required!
How was the period of time from March to May for you? What seeds did you plant in your inner garden, and which of those have taken hold now and begun to grow? Are there others that did not grow despite tending, and needed to be let go of? Is there a new garden within you beginning to take shape? If not, what is still required to support a new beginning, a new platform for your energies?
As we continue to move through this rebirth period most of us are still unsure what we are even moving into. Yes we have our personal goals and intentions, but the changes occurring now around and within us are tectonic, and more than we can articulate. As I mentioned previously, these changes are moving us to a higher centered, more sustainable platform, and what that looks like we are not yet sure.
In my last newsletter I spoke briefly of the teachings of the Medicine Wheel, sacred to many of the Native American tribes for health and healing. Summer is represented by the direction of the South, the full light of day, the time of youth, growth, fertility and creativity. The South is also viewed as the outer feminine energy and a container-similar to the womb-and it builds what supports us. Everything that nurtures and supports us and allows us to show-up as we want to in life is viewed as the positive expression of the south. The opposite pole of this would be feeling trapped by our container, which is too small and restrictive, or where the support is conditional. Like a chick needing to emerge from its’ shell, when our containers are too small we need to find a way out or we will not thrive-or even survive-in the long term.
This season is also a good time to take a reality check of what is and isn’t working in our lives, to be really objective about where we want to put our energies now and what to weed out. Where there is little fertility or toxic fertility-despite our best efforts- things don’t grow in a positive way.
In nature it is easy to see how the teachings of growth, fertility and creativity are expressed in summer, where long periods of light energy, warmth and moisture create abundant life. If we view this metaphor for our own current growth and healing, we are called to creatively expand our vision and intentions at this time. In other works, think big and creatively! Rather than letting our minds keep us thinking small and with limitation, this season is the perfect time to focus on expanding our vision of what we want to create positively. The container of the South holds the seeds we have and are planting now and will build what supports us. This is an internal process of inspiration (energy coming in) before we can take action (energy going out).
Finally, let’s not forget the importance of Gratitude! Gratitude is not just a mind-set; it is a frequency and like love, a hugely important energy. Gratitude aligns our focus and energy with a higher platform and moves us into that expansive, limitless quantum field of positive possibility. If gratitude is not a part of your daily process you can begin by keeping a gratitude journal, and every day writing down a few things that you are grateful for, no matter how simple.
So with that dear ones, thank you all for being you, for what you bring to this world, the exquisite light you carry, the service you do and the unique expression of Spirit you are made visible. I feel blessed to be able to share with you.
Wishing you a blessed and lovely summer,
Marina

Intuitive energy work, and hypnotherapy are all wonderful tools for helping you to shift, re-pattern, release and heal on very deep levels. They are transformational processes that work because they are based on the holistic belief that you already are whole and contain all of the answers and concepts needed to heal now, on whatever level you are seeking. Are you ready to embrace the changes and healing arising for you now? I would love to help support you in this time of transition. Please call or email with any questions you may have and to schedule a session now.
